The link to Wishlist is a # and not a valid link
When you hover over the link, in the status bar the link will look something like http://www.yourdomain.com/productfolder/?action=squzze&dc=#. In this case the link that is being returned is actually # and not the address of where to go to complete the registration.

There are many reasons why the registration process will fail with wishlist member. The most common by far that we see is that the email address being registered already exists in wishlist member. Many times an admin will put in his email and then try to test with the same one. Wishlist cannot create a new account with the same email address.

Also, if you are testing in the sandbox, the email signup process only works the first time.

There are other reasons too why this can happen. Starting in version 1.1.1 of the Wishlist Member add-on we added logging. If you are uncertain why a failure happened you can refer to the logs and the reason that came from Wishlist Member will be in the log.
